Record Store Day June 12th
Record Store Day was first conceived in 2007 by record store owners and employees hoping to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture of independently-owned record stores around the world. According to recordstoreday.com, there are participating stores on every continent except Antarctica and “it’s a day for the people who make up the world of the record store—the staff, the customers, and the artists—to come together and celebrate the unique culture of a record store and the special role these independently owned stores play in their communities.” Here at Quinlan Road we celebrate this occasion and support the stores that participate. We hope you will too.
